Greek Seasoning Blend

I LOVE to use Cavender's Greek Seasoning on pork. However, when I brine the pork first, I don't want it to be too salty, so I mix up my own Greek seasoning with this recipe, omitting the salt.

I usually mix up a double or triple batch and store it in a spice jar with my other spices so that I don't have to mix it each time I need it.

2 tsp salt
2 tsp dried oregano
1½ tsp onion powder
1½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp beef-flavored bouillon granules
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
  1. Combine all ingredients; store in an airtight container. Serve with steaks, pork chops, chicken, or fish.
