I cannot believe that is the same Fig Tree! I want some. Do you think they’ll be on when we get there?

No, they won’t last that long. I’ll have some preserves for you. If you want, I could freeze some for you.

Just wanted to let you know that I do like podcasts with the “clean” tag, but do not exclude those that do not have them. They don’t make me think “Disney”, but make me feel safer to listen to them around my daughters. I have been listening to your podcast for about a year (about the same time I started listening to 2g1b and nobody’s listening, but also check out the cleancasts website to see what new additions they have.
Keep up the great work!!!

If it was a mafia fig, would you be saying, “FIGet about it!”
Great show again! Thanks!
PS – Tim? Would you, Could you, touch up the paint in the guest bedroom?

Hi guys! I am enjoying the Figgy Time podcast.
Back home, we call the tree that provides bay leaves a “Bay Laurel” tree. Not sure if that is what it really is, though.
I love fig preserves. It’s one of the things I bring back in volume when I go home to visit. My mom makes a very, cooked down version and my mom’s neighbor makes more of a whole figs in syrup thing. I bring back 3 or 4 jars of each when I visit home in the summer. I love my fig preserves on grilled cheese sandwiches.
BTW, Tim, I think you need to touch up the paint in the guest bedroom. M’kay?

Yay figs! If you have a jar leftover, I’d be happy to take it off your hands
Sorry your beer week was a disaster, TIm. I have been hit and miss this summer. I really enjoyed the Summer Shandy from umm…Leiwkeirkdner (I probably spelled that wrong…), but am still forcing down the pack of Sam Adams Blackberry witbier, which I do no like. The blackberry tastes artificial to me. Meh!

The cool kids call it “Leiny” to avoid having to try to spell long foreign words.
