I checked out the Ooma site, and it’s rather interesting. If I were still using Vonage and didn’t have the multi-line home office, I might be interested in using it.
I’m using VoIP as well, but in more of a DIY way… I have a PBX server upstairs (running Asterisk on Linux) and have accounts with a couple of wholesale-ish VoIP providers (Vitelity and Gafachi, if you’re curious). It takes a hardware investment and setup work up front, but at the moment I’m saving $700+/year over what I was paying Vonage for the same service. This year is making up the cost of the hardware, but next year will be pure savings.

I will try the Sam Adams IN SPITE of your description. have you ever watched the show on the travel channel with Andrew Zimmern, where he goes all over the world eating gross food? He’s always trying to describe things to convince us that they are delicious, but his descriptions FAIL MISERABLY. Like “it has a pungent, musky aroma, and a grainy yet slimy texture.” MMMM SO APPETIZING! So when you recommend a beer to me from now on, please refrain from describing it as “chunky.” EWWWW!!!!
And another thing – what was UP with that extra long intro? I thought I had accidentally clicked the wrong button on my ipod.
and ANOTHER thing…how was the party???? Sorry I missed it! One day I shall taste Tim’s smoked meat!!!
